Frequently Asked Questions
If you teach around 20 hours per week, you’ll earn $ 400−600. If you take on more hours, your pay will increase accordingly.
To teach with Skyeng Talks, you only need a laptop, a stable internet connection, a clean workspace, and a neutral background. Please make sure background noise stays minimal during lessons.
Onboarding includes a 3-hour training, a 1-hour mock lesson with a methodologist, and a 1-hour meeting with an education manager. After that, you’ll complete your profile (about 1−2 hours). The whole process is free and helps you adapt quickly.
You set your own schedule. Ideally, you should teach at least 15 hours per week. More lessons are welcome, but you decide what works best for you.
You don’t need to look for students — we’ll match them with you.
If your student is late, you’ll still be paid for the full lesson. If they don’t show up within 2 minutes, you can mark the timeslot as free and get reassigned to another student.
